The Bands

Kamarad

Boxe punk

KAMARAD is a band from Mulhouse supported by Noumatrouff and the Grand Est region, it took part in “Bars En Trans / Transmusicales de Rennes” in December 2022 as well as in the 2021 edition of “Opération Iceberg” organized by the Eurockéennes Festival.

The band toured in the US, and has played on most of the major stages of Grand Est region ( Laiterie, Cartonnerie, Souris Verte, Cabaret Vert, Noumatrouff, Moloco, La Poudrière, Grillen, FIMU..).

KAMARAD had also played opening acts for FRUSTRATION, STRUCTURES, BASS DRUM OF DEATH, PAUL COOK & THE PROFESSIONALS and PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED.

“Music, as seen by KAMARAD , is an expression of unbridled collective energy, and the band unleashes a joyous and taut post-punk music that can easily match up to any of the finest UK bands ( FONTAINES DC, IDLES..).

Oscillating between chants of hooligans and abrasive slogans, the energetic vocals act as orders to provoke disorder, promising incandescent live performances and fiery pogos.”

Prokop

Folk / Rock

After a first album in 2020, Prokop is launching a super production in the form of a triple album. And the challenge is major, since after having devoted his previous essay to covering traditional songs, he defends no less than twenty-eight personal compositions.

Having grown up in Hull, he perfectly masters his English choice with his captivating voice, and celebrates with communicative happiness a folk close to blues and country, in turn stripped down and nostalgic, or nervous and lively, his guitar and harmonica finally being relayed by delicate and varied orchestrations with percussion, harmonium, piano, banjo and accordion.

The Prisoners

Soundtrack / Surf / Garage / Psyche

The Prisoners are back ! It’s been two years since the band released their debut album which brought back to life British and American TV theme songs from the 60s and 70s, such as The Persuaders or Mannix.
Their upcoming album - scheduled to be released late September 2023 – kicks things off in style by dusting off a new series of old-time TV theme songs with a supercharged rock'n'roll vibe, channeling elements of garage, psychedelic punk or surf rock (Hawaii Five O, The Avengers, Department S, Randall and Hopkirk...).
But that's not all: by following in the footsteps of composers such as John Barry and Lalo Schifrin, The Prisoners have taken on the challenge of composing a series of original theme songs themselves.
After discovering "Le retour de l’isf », « L’égalité des chances », « L’homme qui valait mieux que les autres », « Aussi. Mais pas que », one can't help dreaming that these original scores will one day catch the ear of a director or producer.
That would be a fitting, full-circle tribute. While waiting for such an accolade, there's no doubt that this new album will enable the band to keep up the momentum (concerts galore, regular appearances on FIP radio...) to the delight of a public nostalgic for good old TV series and good old rock'n'roll, as well as a younger audience who shouldn't remain
insensitive for long to this unparalleled repertoire played with an infectious energy.

Snaabbacash

Rock

How many of you, discovering Ride, Oasis, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Suede, Slowdive, Pavement, The Stone Roses, House Of Love, Interpol, have thought? “Damn!! The Anglo-Americans continue to bring out new great talents! »

Do like us, continue to enjoy it. But know that in the East of France, in the heart of a fortified city known for its lion, its festival, its railway industry, and its liquid cheese, an indie rock band has been able to develop a project that sounds like its many glorious influences.

After two EPs and a notable tour, participation in Operation Iceberg 2017, Snaabbacash is preparing a first album that will surprise more than one, but surely not The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Stranglers or The Wedding Present, who choosed the band to open for them at the Laiterie / Strasbourg and the Poudrière / Belfort.
